Substitutes
Substitutions are only allowed if a team cannot field 9 players.
Majors Baseball- Only use substitutions from the approved list of names provided to coaches in the Slack channel - seek approval from Player Agents to add names to the list
- League age 8 players are NOT allowed to sub in Majors games per Little League guidelines (Majors is ages 9 to 12 only)
- AAA players subbing in Majors can play any position except pitcher and bat anywhere in the order
- Majors players subbing for Majors teams should be avoided where possible. Majors subs on Majors teams must play Right Field the entire game and bat last. Majors subs should be of equal skill level to the player they are replacing.
- These rules apply to all games (exhibition, regular season and playoffs)
Minors (fka AAA) Baseball- Only use substitutions from the approved list of names provided to coaches in the Slack channel - seek approval from Player Agents to add names to the list
- League age 5 or 6 players are NOT allowed to sub in a Minors (AAA) game, players must be league 7 or preferably league age 8
- AA players subbing in Minors (AAA) can play any position except pitcher and bat anywhere in the order
