Opening Day 2024 is finally here, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest one ever! Concessions will be open all day. Please take note of the important information below for an exciting and safe opening day.
WHEN?
- Saturday, May 4th - Ceremony begins promptly at 10AM and will last 1 hour.
- Coaches and staff must arrive no later than 9:15AM.
- Players must arrive no later than 9:45AM; the earlier, the better.
WHO?
- This year, all ages for both Baseball and Softball will be participating in the Saturday Opening day.
- We expect over 1000 people this year, so please try to carpool or otherwise limit the number of vehicles.
WHERE?
- Rt. 31 Field - 4483 NY-31, Clay, NY 13041
- Enter only on Rt. 31 main entrance to DPW parking lot (turn by orange plow)
- All players should be brought to the right field gate where a LLL volunteer will usher them to their team.
- If your child has a game at Verplank immediately following the ceremony, it’s recommended you park at the Verplank field and walk to Rt. 31 (the fields are connected via a walking path behind Verplank AAA center field)
