Are you a coach? Do you want to coach? Click here for requirements.

In order to be a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for the league, you must fill out a background screening form. The background check is minimal, but it is a Little League International requirement. A Background Check form will be posted shortly.

Additionally, all coaches MUST attend a mandatory Coach's Meeting. The League is considering holding two sessions to encourage attendance. These dates are to be determined but will definitely be held on March. During the training, coach's will be taught basic first aid and each team must have one CPR certified coach. The CPR certification will be offered at each Coach's Meeting, and lunch will be offered.

As a League, we require that each Coach takes a positive approach towards little leaguer development. It's the difference between telling kids what they did wrong versusĀ detailing what they learned. To that end, all coaches must agree to uphold positive values on and off the field as well as agree to be considerate to the League Umpires, many of whom are high school students. When the kids see usĀ  parents/coaches argue with the umps, they learn to argue with the umps.

Finally, we encourage station style coaching, particularly for the T-ball, Single A, and Double A divisions. Our most important objective is to teach kids the greatest game on Earth and keep them coming back until they graduate from the Major's division. Keeping them constantly active and working on fundamental is the best way to do this, and it feeds a secondary objective, which is to field a competitive All-Star team that can compete at the Little League International level.
